Introduction to image-based facilitation (February 2026)

About this course

ABOUT THIS COURSE

This course is a first experiential introduction to image-based facilitation, designed for helping professionals who wish to explore the use of images as a way to open understanding, perspective, and meaning, without turning them into a mechanical or interpretative technique.

Throughout the session, you will experience how an image can become a support for exploration, allowing relevant information to emerge without forcing processes or directing conclusions.

The focus is not on learning what to do, but on how to be when facilitating others.

The course is grounded in the perspective of the Introspekt method, which is introduced experientially throughout the session.

HOW IT WORKS

This is an intensive 5-hour in-person course, combining individual, pair and group experiential practices, using Introspekt cards as working material.

During the course, you will:

  • experience being guided through images

  • observe how an image-based process is facilitated

  • practise from the facilitator’s role

  • reflect on presence, listening, and professional boundaries

Theory is introduced in an integrated way, emerging naturally from the practice and always in service of the experience.

What will you get?

WHAT YOU'LL GET FROM THIS COURSE

  • A direct and carefully held experience of the Introspekt approach applied to facilitation.

  • An experiential understanding of the core principles of the method and how images are used within it.

  • A first introduction to the three key differentiators of Introspekt:

    • working from strengths and talents

    • attending to disposition towards movement and action

    • practising deep, non-invasive listening

  • Pair and group practices to guide without directing, holding the process from presence and curiosity.

  • One Introspekt card set, provided during the course, so you can continue exploring and practising independently after the session.

  • Clarity to decide, with discernment, whether this approach resonates with your way of accompanying and whether you wish to continue the training path.

This course does not qualify participants to facilitate image-based processes, but it does offer a clear understanding of the method’s perspective and provides the necessary material to continue deepening both personally and professionally.

WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR

This course is intended for helping professionals who wish to explore another way of guiding and supporting, one that is more coherent with their sensitivity and professional ethics.

It is not a course for complete beginners, nor for those looking for quick tools or immediate results.

The use of Introspekt method and cards requires discernment, presence and respect for the timing of each process, aspects that are introduced and carefully framed during this training.
